Aamir busy with Thugs of Hindostan in Europe, Thailand and India

The movie is an action adventure movie starring Katrina Kaif opposite Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, and Amitabh Bachchan.

Aamir Khan starer movie ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is recently the talk of the Bollywood town and due to Amir Khan, the movie is gaining much interest among audience and Bollywood industry.

The movie is an action adventure movie starring Katrina Kaif opposite Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, and Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra. The production company and distributed by Yash Raj Films and set to be released on 7th November 2018.

Some of the other casting actors of the movie are Shashank Arora, Ronit Roy, Satyadev Kancharana, and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub. The movie is based on the novel ‘Confessions of the Thug’ written by Philip Meadows Taylor in 1839.

A pic was uploaded with Aamir Khan by one of the crew members of the movie which shows that some parts of the movie is shot in Europe. The film is set to be shoot at massive ships that have been built in two months.

The ships are decked on Maltese seaside. Some parts of the movie will be shot at Malta, Tunisia, and Libya. The shooting of the film in Europe has been already started in the first week of the June.

Some of the best tourist destinations of Malta where the movie might be shot are Valletta, capital of the Republic of Malta, including two Harbors named, The Grand Harbor and Marsamxett Harbor, where the shooting might take place. Grand Master’s Palace, Museum of Archeology, Upper Baracca Gardens, and Grand Master’s Palace are some of the tourist’s destinations that might be used in the shooting of the movie.

The Hilltop town of Medina, Cathedral of Saint Paul, and The Palazzo Santa Sofia are also some of the major tourist’s attractions that can be planned to use if the movie. Some of the earlier Bollywood movies based on a new concept of drug dealing in Malta were Charas (1976) and Samraat (1982).

According to a statement given in an interview by the writer and director of the movie, Vijay Krishna:

“The set of the film is in a high-security water zone, with restricted access. Both these ships have been built in the early eighteenth-century style when vessels would carry cannons and other weapons. An international crew has been hard at work creating these elaborate ships in Malta. Most of the portions filmed on board these ships involve high octane action.”

Another exotic shooting locations that have been used in ‘The Thugs of Hindostan’ is Thailand. Amitabh Bachchan has earlier started shooting for the movie in Thailand and he tweeted:

“Travel beckons early morning for TOH across seas and land. More later.”

Some of the tourist’s attractions in Thailand are Sukhothai Historical Park, Museum of contemporary Art,

Floating Markets, Thailand’s Ayutthaya Temple, Ko Kham island, Krabi sunset cruises, and various others.

The looks of Aamir Khan in ‘The Thugs of Hindostan’ are still hidden and no pictures are released yet. Some shooting of the movie is also going in Rajasthan, for instance in Jodhpur.

Aamir told in his statement that once he is back from his abroad trip, he will resume the shooting of the film in Jodhpur. This will be the last part of the shooting of the film that will be shot at Rajasthan.

As the movie is set against the 18th century Thug, so some most important scenes of the movie will be shot at historical forts of Jodhpur. There will be a battle scene which includes many horses and the climax of the movie will be shot here in Jodhpur.

Fatima Sheikh posted some of the pictures of her during the shooting locations in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, where she is seen rehearsing for some action scenes. Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur is chosen as the main shooting location for ‘The Thugs of Hindostan’.
