Bollywood Shooting with Unpredictable Weather

Before you travel somewhere, you surely check its weather condition, but unfortunately, when you reach there the climate and weather both are opposite to your expectations. There are some places in the world about whom you can’t predict.

They are the most unpredictable places with the most unpredictable weather and climate conditions. For those places, you must do a proper research and then visit. Even our Bollywood celebrities have also experienced some of the unpredictable weather changes and they faced problem while shooting.

One of the important fact in this respect is that every country has a different weather condition and they are not same at the same time. There will always be a major difference in the weather conditions of India and London; They can’t be the same at the same time! And that is what is the most loved fact about enjoying different weather conditions of different countries.

Countries like Birmingham, Denver, New Orleans, Scotland, Montreal in Canada, Minneapolis, and various others that have extremely unpredictable weather conditions.

You can never predict what will be the weather in July and November. I mean you can absolutely find out cities all around the world where the weather will change from best to worst and then you will have no option other than pack your bags and enjoy in your hotel. There are various Bollywood movies that have been shot at extremely adverse weather condition. Sometimes conditions forced them to stop the shooting and they must return to their hotels.

Some of the movies that faced problem while shooting was the highway, Shivaay, Lakshya, Jab We Met, Sanam Re, Pukar, Haider, Lucky starring Salman Khan and Sneha Ulal, and various others. These movies were shot at some of the most exotic, yet dangerous locations where you can never trust the climate and weather conditions.

While shooting for Dilwale in Iceland, starring Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Kirti Sanon, and Varun Dhawan, actors and the crew members faced a lot of problems. When we talk about Iceland, then the first thing comes in our mind is the freezing temperature that doesn’t allow to visit some of the alluring and beautiful locations in Iceland.

There are various things that you can do and then visit some of the exotic places that can add more thrill to your visit to Iceland. The shooting of Dilwale was held at some fascinating locations of Iceland, for instance, Vestrahorn Beach, Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon, Vatnajokull National park, DC3-Airplane Wreck, S lheimasandur Black Sand Beach, Southern region, Vestrahorn Mountain, Reynisfjara Black Sands in Studlaberg, Seljalandsfoss Waterfalls, Skg River, and Skogafoss Waterfalls Skg River,

Another Bollywood movie that faced many problems while shooting was recently released movie Shivaay starring Ajay Devgan. This movie was also one of the most difficult movies in terms of shooting. The whole crew members, director, and actors faced problem while shooting in Bulgaria’s Balkan Mountains. It is situated in the Eastern part of the Balkan Peninsula. The temperature was very low while shooting for Shivaay. It can range from minus 15 to minus 20 degrees and you can easily imagine what it could have been while shooting at this temperature.

Another city that is famous for its unpredictable weather condition is Denver in Texas. The city is very unpredictable in terms of changing climatic conditions. It is the area prone to Tornado and high storm and people visiting this city should take care of the climatic conditions because it can change any time.

The highway was shot at some of the coldest places in India and yes it was Kashmir and Himachal. Famous for its fascinating, romantic, and enticing locations, Kashmir is commonly known as ‘HEAVEN ON EARTH’, and when it comes to shooting movies, Bollywood chooses the best places to give its movies a different look through various locations. Some of the romantic and best scenes of the ‘Highway’ was shot at Nako Village in Kinnaur, Tabo Monastery, Lahaul, and Spiti, all in Himachal Pradesh. Some other scenes were shot at Aru Valley, Pahalgam, Anantnag district, Kashmir and Veera in the mountains, Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir.
