Sonam Kapoor & Rajkumar Rao spotted on Gurgaon metro station for ‘EkLadki Ko Dekha To AisaLaga’
Shelly Chopra Dhar, sister of Vidhu Vinod Chopra is directing a movie named’ EkLadki Ko Dekha To AisaLaga’, starring Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Juhi Chawla, Regina Cassandra, and Madhu Malti.
Shelly Chopra Dhar, sister of Vidhu Vinod Chopra is directing a movie named’ EkLadki Ko Dekha To AisaLaga’, starring Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Juhi Chawla, Regina Cassandra, and Madhu Malti. The movie is named after the song ‘EkLadki Ko Dekha to AisaLaga’ which was directed in the movie- ‘1942- a love story’.This movie was done by Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala. This is for the first time when father and daughter duo, Sonam and Anil is working together in a movie. The movie is going to hit the screens on 12th October 2018. The movie is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Recently, Sonam and Raj Kumar have been spotted on Gurgaon metro station for shooting some of the scenes of the movie. The filmmakers decided to shoot the movie at Jhandewalan metro station that is known for a large statue of Lord Hanuman. But as the area is considered the oldest location in Delhi and if crowded so it was not possible for filmmakers to shoot there. So, sector 55-56 metro station on the Golf course was transformed into the Jhandewalan metro station.
The movie was earlier shot in Patiala and now for the second schedule, the team members have moved to Gurgaon. The main star cast of the movie Sonam and Rajkumar was seen wearing the outfits from the movie. Sonam was seen wearing a traditional Punjabi suit and on the other hand, Rajkumar was wearing Shirt with a sweater. A lot of pictures has been surfaced on the internet after the three days schedule of the shooting in Delhi and Gurgaon.
Sonam was also seen shooting at one of the hottest locales of Delhi i.e. Hauz Khas village. The year 2018 is proving to be a lucky charm for Delhi; As a lot of movies being shot at this historical as well as cultural city. Sonam was shooting in Hauz Khas village with South Indian actress Regina Cassandra and Madhumati Kapoor.
The actors also shot inside the rapid metra train in Gurgaon. As it was the long 13-hour shoot and there were no travelers so, the crew members and actors didn’t face many problems while shooting. According to a security official that told the reporter of the Times of India:
“We had no problems with crowd management since people can’t enter the Metro Station just like that. However, there were a lot of people in the nearby buildings and some were even buying tickets to go to the platforms and catch a glimpse of the actors.”
This was for the first time when Rajkumar Rao has returned to his hometown for shooting any movie and he was excited about it. The shooting went on for three days in Delhi and Gurgaon. According to sources, the actors also shot at some of the locations of old Delhi and New Delhi.
