Director Shaad Ali is bringing an Indian biographical movie named ‘Soorma’, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Tapsee Pannu, and Angad Bedi. The movie covers the real-life incidents of International hockey player Sandeep Singh and his journey towards being an international hockey player. Sandeep Singh was an ex-captain of Indian national hockey team.
Tapsee Pannu and Diljit Dosanjh both are excited about this movie and they have just finished up with the first slot of the movie in India and now they are moving for the last shot of the movie in Serbia. Tapsee is excited to visit a new country and new project. In an interview Tapsee said:
“It’s the final leg of shooting and I am getting to visit a country which I have never been to before.”
The actors have recently wrapped with their shooting schedule of India in Shahabad in Uttar Pradesh. Shahabad is a municipal board in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. The movie might cover some of the tourist attractions in Hardoi, including, Hardoi Baba temple, Jama Masjid Shahabad, Mangla Devi temple, and Sandi bird sanctuary.
Some parts of the movie were shot in Chandigarh. Tapsee Pannu posted a picture on her Instagram account while shooting fro Soorma in Chandigarh where she is standing in stadium raising up her hands in victory. She captioned this picture as:
“And that’s a wrap of a perfect climax where god is in sync with our feelings! ‘Soorma’ 29 June 2018.”
There are various tourist attractions in Chandigarh that might be included in the movie, but as there are no viral pictures of Chandigarh shooting locations, it is just an assumption that some of the places might be selected for the shooting. Some of the tourist attractions are Rock garden of Chandigarh, Sukhana Lake, Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, Government museum and art gallery, Japanese Garden, Nada Sahib, Topiary Park, Rock garden, Butterfly Park, and various other locations.
Recently, the shooting has moved to Serbia, a sovereign state in Europe. Some of the nearest countries situated at the border with Serbia are Hungary, Romania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Croatia. As Serbia is the cold place so Tapsee is little bit feared about shooting in Serbia, but at the same time she is excited too and said in her statement:
“I fear cold weather as I am not a cold weather person but the excitement of visiting a new place keeps me warm and getting to play a hockey player along with some real hockey players is what makes the journey even more exciting. I will be done in a week in Serbia and that will be a wrap for team Soorma.”
